I think an answer is wrong

Tell us the citation shown under the answer — 14 CFR §107.51 or FAA-H-8083-25C, p. 15-2. That points straight at the source we used, and lets us check it in minutes.

This matters more than usual here. Every question in the app stores a fragment of its FAA source that proves the answer, and a question whose fragment is no longer found in the current text does not ship. If ours disagrees with the source, ours is wrong and we will fix it.

Why do some answers cite a handbook instead of the regulation?

Because the regulation does not hold everything. The dimensions of Class B, C and D airspace — some of the most tested material on the exam — are not in 14 CFR at all: sections 71.41, 71.51 and 71.61 point to an FAA Order incorporated by reference. The Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge is where that lives in public. The app tells you which of the two a given answer rests on, because the regulation is the firmer ground.

Is this the real FAA test?

No. The knowledge test is given at an FAA-authorized testing center, from the FAA's own question bank. This app is not that bank and does not reproduce it. It teaches the rules and the published FAA material the test is drawn from, with the source cited on every answer.

We are not affiliated with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Why is the practice exam 60 questions?

Because the real one is. The FAA knowledge test is 60 questions in 120 minutes and you pass with 70 percent. The practice exam here is the same length and scored at the same mark, and it spreads the questions across areas so that one area cannot take over the test.

Why does it cost anything, when the sources are public?

The sources are public; reading a 500-page handbook and three parts of the Code of Federal Regulations is not the same as studying. Each question was written by hand against the exact wording of its source, and checked against it automatically on every build.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for paid apps are handled by Google Play, not by us. Open the Play Store, go to your order history, and ask for a refund there.
